Camelot Castle Hotel

"We had a lovely stay at the Camelot Castle Hotel, with a good sized room that was clean and comfortable. As it's a dog friendly hotel, we could hear two dogs yapping in the room next door. We also found that the room had a "wet dog" smell each time we returned to our room but were unable to air the room as we couldn't open the windows. Due to the age of the building and retrospective fitting, the bathroom is very bijou, but usable (as long as you're not too large). Fine for a weekend. Due to availability, we had a moor view room, which was lovely, but would definitely try to get a sea view room if staying again. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious and very well presented. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location, a short walk to Tintagel Castle along the road to the main entrance, and we also walked back along the coastal path from Tintagel beach / Merlin's Cave after our visit to the castle."

"We had a fantastic stay in Cornwall. The house was perfect for our group of 11, including three children and a baby, with plenty of space for everyone. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious, and the downstairs living areas are excellent, giving us lots of room to relax and spend time together.The location is amazing, with a beautiful beach close by, and the views are brilliant. Being able to see the sea from nearly every window was really special and added so much to the whole experience.Communication with the host was excellent throughout. What really stood out was how homely the house feels. It has so much character and genuinely feels like a home that is loved and lived in, which made it a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay.The only small suggestion would be to add a little more outdoor lighting. Both outside areas are so lovely that we would have enjoyed being able to spend more time out there in the evenings.Overall, a wonderful, spacious and welcoming house in a fantastic location. We had a brilliant stay and would happily recommend it, particularly for larger families or groups."

"Perfect location! Just a 5-minute walk to the South West Coast Path and the beach. All the restaurants in Tintagel are within walking distance. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need. There was also a terrace, which we made great use of."

Cornish Holiday Home in Tintagel - New from Easter 2024

"What a gem!We stayed for 7 nights in the summer, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best places we've stayed in (and we have stayed in a few!).The location was great - a short 10min stroll into Tintagel, with all its little cafes, pubs, and shops. The bus stop was right outside the house, there was plenty of parking in front of the house and the views - the sea on one side, rolling hills and countryside on the other. The house had everything we needed - comfy beds, a king-size in the master bedroom, plenty of kitchen utensils and even Alexa so that I could put on some radio/ music. The house was newly refurbished, everything still felt new. Check in and check out with quick and hassle free. We spent the week exploring the local area(s). Boscastle, coastal walks, body boarding, the Eden Project and Newquay (we had a jet ski safari booked). We discovered the most wonderful farm shop just outside Boscastle that sold incredible cakes - and went back several times. The pubs in Tintagel are great - friendly service, huge portions and really good quality food."
