"Rooms are nice and clean, they gave me a room without air conditioned but I told them I booked a room with AC and they gave me another room. The hotel is out of downtown, no noise, streets are not paved in that area. It is a good chooce If you don’t want to expend too much money. "
"The hotel was very nice, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The area is quiet, but still close enough to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was we were put in a room that was right at the front entrance to the hotel and across the hall from the reception. No room should be in this particular location. As a result, it lacked privacy.

"The rooms where clean and pretty well maintained, the staff was kind and friendly. It was close to the Centro and a walkable distance from most things. They also offered 2 tours, and although we didn't do any it was nice to have that option. "

"The property is gorgeous. Bungalow overlooking sculptured gardens, 2 private patios, views of mountains in the distance. Best of all was the friendliness of Deb and Victor. They chauffeured us all over town every day, did airport pickups, and were super attentive to our every need. We're leaving here with new friends, for sure!"
"It’s was fantastic and I hope this family all the best. We stayed when they had just opened but they did not charge us correctly (over charged) and there was no water NO water in our second room. All in all though they were very friendly and after all it is Mexico - so go with the flow. "

"Our hosts Debra and Victor consistently out performed any expectations we had before arrival. They are extremely knowledgeable of the area and we're able to help us in finding contacts for local guides for area attractions along with excellent recommendations for the best restaurants. The transportation to and from the airport and flexibility of getting us around town was the most valuable amenity to us while staying with them. Not having to arrange for cabs and wondering who your driver will be takes a lot of stress away as a foreigner with little to no knowledge of the local language. st employ. "

"First ever booking and guests to stay at this place, with no reviews, we were worried about it but turned out great!
Debra and Victor are awesome hosts, taking time to pick us up and drop us off at bus station when we arrived in and departed from Oaxaca for day of dead festivities. They offered great advice on how to attend the festivities, must visit places, restaurants to eat at, etc. And since they are 10-15 minutes outside Oaxaca Centro, the shuttle system they offered worked great for our needs to go back and forth. When we wanted to stay late, we just used a taxi for 250 pesos.
The cottage was comfortable, grounds and swimming pool excellent, breakfast superb, and the laundry service was awesome, the clothes were brought back ironed, I mean I'm on vacation, I don't bother with ironing :-)!!!
All in all, don't hesitate to book, its an awesome place to stay if you don't mind being in a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of Oaxaca Centro, we will be back..."
