"Lovely place. Comfortable beds. Quiet and central. The only downside was that they were doing some painting work by the pool in the middle of the day while people were enjoying the sun. They should have done this work earlier in the day."

"Staying at Dillan's Corner/ Bule Villas was the difference between a good and fantastic visit to Oaxaca city! The care and hospitality of Debra and Victor was world class. They opened their wonderful home and provided hospitality and suggestions which really made the trip exceptional! Interesting and informative conversation on the area and history of the people and culture was very beneficial. Every suggestion of places to go and things to do, welcomed and excellent choices. From centro to mole restaurants to El Tule, Monte Alban, Teotitlan, Coyotepec and San Martin Tilcajete. Can't say enough about how much they influenced this memorable trip! The complex was a great place to relax at the end of a busy day. We only wish that we had stayed longer!!!"

"Our hosts Debra and Victor consistently out performed any expectations we had before arrival. They are extremely knowledgeable of the area and we're able to help us in finding contacts for local guides for area attractions along with excellent recommendations for the best restaurants. The transportation to and from the airport and flexibility of getting us around town was the most valuable amenity to us while staying with them. Not having to arrange for cabs and wondering who your driver will be takes a lot of stress away as a foreigner with little to no knowledge of the local language. st employ. "

"We never expected such a fantastic stay! We were originally looking at hotels downtown until we stumbled upon Debra and Victor's place, the Bule Villas, a short distance from downtown. While there's much to be said about being able to walk out to the action of the city, we often preferred places that are a bit private and yet accessible. This place was everything that we asked for- and MUCH more! We were warmly greeted by the owners even as we arrived late into the evening. They were such gracious hosts and really attended to every single need we had - from adding on a breakfast option to getting around the city (BTW, if it wasn't clear in the description, they offer a special drop-off and back to the villas so you don't have to take a taxi), to showing us a local market with delicious food. Of course, we happened to be the the only guests that week, so got some extra attention :). The villa grounds are perfectly maintained with amazing old trees and windy paths - it is literally an oasis in a place that can be fairly hectic. The villa also comes with a kitchen and all the basic appliances. It's comfy and homey and everything you wanted for a stress-free stay. While all 5 villas would have provided a fantastic stay, we were particularly lucky to get one that had two private balconies :). If you are looking for a local experience that has ample privacy and serenity, don't pass this up!"

"First ever booking and guests to stay at this place, with no reviews, we were worried about it but turned out great! Debra and Victor are awesome hosts, taking time to pick us up and drop us off at bus station when we arrived in and departed from Oaxaca for day of dead festivities. They offered great advice on how to attend the festivities, must visit places, restaurants to eat at, etc. And since they are 10-15 minutes outside Oaxaca Centro, the shuttle system they offered worked great for our needs to go back and forth. When we wanted to stay late, we just used a taxi for 250 pesos. The cottage was comfortable, grounds and swimming pool excellent, breakfast superb, and the laundry service was awesome, the clothes were brought back ironed, I mean I'm on vacation, I don't bother with ironing :-)!!! All in all, don't hesitate to book, its an awesome place to stay if you don't mind being in a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of Oaxaca Centro, we will be back..."
