"The hotel is very old but very nice hotel. It is located in the centre of old town, which has a number of restaurant options within a 10 to 15 minute walk. In fact pretty much everything is 10 to 15 minute walk.
If it’s your first time to Munich do note that the airport is very far from town. Plan on spending somewhere in the area of 90 to 100 euros both ways. The cheapest way to get there is the train if you’re up to a lot, but you still need to take a cab or Uber from the train station to the hotel. Not sure how much you save for the aggravation of dragging your bags all over the train station.
The hotel itself is old as indicated, but quite comfortable. High ceilings, a big window in the the room. Comes in handy as the air-conditioning is not cold, but it was adequate.
Beds or medium to hard. They weren’t terrible.
We did not eat the breakfast so I can’t comment on that although it’s available. Lots of restaurant options close by none of them on the cheap side.
Beer house down the road is a must visit. If you’re going to eat there have the schnitzel I thought it was the best thing on the menu by far. Great atmosphere, Oktoberfest every day really.
I would stay at this hotel again if I were travelling to Munich."
