"Unpretentious simple accommodations complimented with premium bedding and bath soaps.
Hotel is warm and accommodating. Breakfast was magnificent.
Staff were genuinely wonderful and friendly
We would highly recommend this hotel."
"Hotel is a little old / outdated. Breakfast was good! I was expecting a better / warmer welcome from the front desk team. Room is not very quiet but overall comfortable. Someone (staff) opened the door without knocking when I was in the room. Not sure if I would stay there again. Good for the price. "
"Stayed for two nights and had the most wonderful experience in this cosy hotel filled with history. Yes it's true it could use a lick of paint, but the amazing staff and very good restaurant make up for that bigtime. "
"it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs."

Excellent
Loved this little town. Everyone was so nice. I even had time to speak with the firefighters at their station. Thursday night is their training night, so it was fun to talk about differences between the fire department I serve with.

The stargazing tour and the Glenlivet discovery centre was incredible! It was run by two extremely knowledgeable volunteers on a donation basis. The stars were incredible - if you're going to be in the area check out the Cairngorms dark sky website.
"Some of our parties rooms were a little dated and the pillows were hard and lumpy but other than that could not fault a thing. It was so convenient for going into Aviemore and had great on site facilities for kids. "
"A wonderful restoration of an old hotel that has kept all the grandeur while updating for all of the modern conveniences. The staff was our favorite part, they were all super nice and helpful from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant.
Twin room was very spacious and beds comfortable, the sound proofing between rooms was the only thing that was anything less than 10 but the noisemaker on my phone was all that was needed to drown out any noises.
Wished we could have stayed longer to do one of the guided walks as we met one of the guides who went out her way to print out directions to a loch great for bird watching that we could see on our way out of town. "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Nethybridge Hotel: the bed was big and comfortable, we had a great view of the gardens, and everything we tried on the restaurant's menu was delicious.
However, the facilities are quite dated, especially in the common areas. Carpet on the stairs and in the hallways is visibly worn and fraying. It's an old building, so hallways are narrow and you will not be able to comfortably pass another person unless one of you waits. There's one very small lift that can accomodate one person. Finding parking was challenging and there's no clear signage to mark the car park behind the building. Even though we had one of the upgraded 4-poster suites, our bathroom had very weak water pressure and showering was challenging.
All of that being said, the charm of the hotel, its location in the Cairngorms, its access to walking trails, and the surrounding peaceful scenery would bring us back! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, as well. Because we booked through Orbitz in advance, both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. "
"Staff lovely and very kind and understanding. Local area beautiful and lots of activities outwith area for the children. Grandson is autistic and also has adhd and at times could be very hyper but staff anazing with him and understanding."
"We loved the apartment at Sweeney Two - it has a real WOW factor with its industrial style, which was unexpected in the middle of Aviemore! It had everything we needed and the garden area is a real bonus.
It’s in a great location for exploring the Cairngorm area, we went to the mountain resort to do the tubing slides and funicular and then on to the reindeer walk, all of which we can recommend. Thanks for a great stay!"
