"A great place to stay. We had a great time, very relaxing. The wood burner was a highlight. The weather was quite cold so the fire was very welcome. We had Sunday lunch at the New Inn and the food was fab. The Farriers lodge was comfortable, and the facilities were great. The beds were sooo comfortable. It’s great for the dogs too. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Do yourself a favour and book it ASAP."

"We had a great seven days spend here. So peaceful and amazing views. Friendly people most places are dog friendly great for walks. The cottage had everything you could think of."

"Lovely place, very comfortable. Would stay there again, only things to help make it better would be hangers outside for towels when in the hot tub and some way of turning radiator on in bathroom (like a boost button) as when you have wet clothing there is nowhere to dry things. Also dog friendly which is great but would be nice if there was somewhere to walk them around the fields."

"Lovely stay at Ladysmith, plenty of room for 12 people, seating for us all in the lounge and around the dining table. The games room and hot tub were a bonus. Plenty of secure garden space for the dogs."

"Lovely barn conversion with big rooms and plenty of space. The only down side was that the Wi-Fi was off all week which was a bit of an inconvenience and an important factor in our booking. Barring that we had a lovely stay. Some lovely stately homes close by which were well worth a visit."
