"Quirky building hidden amongst others. Beautiful old staircase and lovely open air terrace, which was wonderful to sit in the sun with a beer. Nice clean room. Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. "The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are really great. The location is excellent and the rates are very reasonable - so why be not five stars? Because there’s no elevator and we had to climb 85 stairs to our room carrying luggage, Reception is 40 steps C up from the front entrance so enjoy the hotel if you’re fit!"

Very helpful staff (they had to fix our sink at one point and this was done very quickly). Breakfast could be a little chaotic with items running out and very few staff about."

Comfortable beds We found the check in times a bit confusing online but relieved to find they'd been extended when we arrived."

"We stayed as a family of four. There were building works ongoing, which we did not know about before, but were informed of immediately when we checked in. The dining room and bar were not available but the hotel did offer a breakfast bag option as an alternative. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable and there was aircon and a fan provided which was good. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped. The location is great, a 10 minute walk into the centre of Tour and we managed to park on the street outside the hotel for free. We booked through Hotels.com and the booking said we got a free drink on arrival, we were not offered that but I assume that is because of the maintenance works."
