It was the most amazing property we stayed in. The owner was the most hospitable ever and spent time with us explaining his family history and all the places in Trapani. Simone was the best assistant ever and provided an outstanding breakfast. This is a must stay in Trapani.

At home at Mon Plaisir

What a wonderful stay we had at Giardini Mon Plaisir! From 1st day we felt like home! The attention to detail, professionalism, kindness and commitment from Agostino and team made our stay unforgettable. There is always a kind gesture and attentive assistance making us feel special. I strongly recommend and dont miss a lunch 'Al fresco' by the pool or in the shadow of the trees in the garden!

We were warmly greeted by Agostino, the owner upon entering the property and offered a complimentary coffee and lemonade as he familiarized us with the property and all amenities. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the grounds on the property are well kept. Breakfast and service were great! Highly recommended!

-It's the little things that matter- We loved our stay at Mon Plaisir Agostino was such a wonderful host, his care and attention to details is what brings the charm of this building to life. From a little lemonade upon arrival, to the sweet postcards for our children on the pillow, to desserts in the dining hall (lemon custard was lovely). The communication was excellent! We had the best meal of our trip (at Salamureci upon Agostino’s recommendation. The property itself was a surprising little oasis in the middle of the city. This has been the most fabulous stay for us in this beautiful villa. We absolutely loved staying in the property and it was our favourite across our extended stay in Sicily. This was by far the best property we stayed at. There were 4 of us and we all absolutely loved it. Soo beautiful and the breakfast was the best in Sicily. I would highly recommend this place. Garden Heaven.

Very very nice place. Large rooms, excellent service. Great breakfast. Pretty garden and pool. Not that we got to use the pool since it was April and a bit chilly. Easy access to Erice. I bit far into town. We did walk and take a taxi back cause we wanted to drink. Looked like there was lots of parking if not drinking.

Not only is the property beautifully preserved in its history and yet kept pristine and modernised for purpose - Agostino could not have been a warmer or more welcoming host, making our stay seamless and so enjoyable. The rooms are large with excellent AC, everything you need is on hand at all times - helpful items like a steamer, conversion plugs, a small fridge. Large bathroom and powerful shower, beautiful indoor and outdoor areas for lounging and dining, large pool, there are also supermarkets and coffee shops within 5 minutes super convenient. From pre - arrival communication, making helpful recommendations and reservations - Agostino has access to all the best restaurants, contacts and activities in the area. What a gem of a property, filled with different fruit trees, and a great place to spend a night or four. Sadly we only had one, but Agostino made it a memorable one. In his family since the 1870’s the grand old property makes for a pretty fine landing spot after a long day of travel. Tucked away on a quiet street, but close to the main drag it suited our needs perfectly. You can walk to the old town, but there are eateries within a five minute walk. There is a gated entry that ensures secured parking. The main salon has chandeliers that will take your breath away, it just goes on and on. Our guest room was spacious, very clean and nicely appointed. We would have loved to have seen some historical content in our room, but I can see why there is little. Breakfast was very nice, and ready when you are, you pick the time. If you’re staying in Trapani and want to treat yourself, you can’t make a better choice.
