"Excellent location just up the hill from restaurants, bars and bustling plazas and merchants in Travestere. Scenic and safe 30 minute walk through travestere across the the Ponte Pisto bridge over the river Tiber in to the heart of historic ruins Rome. Great food and local charm along the way before getting into the tourist areas. Great restaurant. Staff was excellent and friendly. All spoke Italian and English. Clean quaint room. Small shower but clean and manageable. Nothing out of the ordinary for a European hotel. Would stay there again. AC in the rooms as well."
