"This location was a few minutes away from Clemson, which was the goal. The place was clean, the beds comfortable and ice cold air conditioning. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel with great good, amazing portions and reasonable prices. The hotel also does breakfast which was one of the best I've seen at a hotel. So many options to pick from. The front seat person was very polite. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed there2 months prior to this visit and informed them that their ice machine on the 4th floor didn’t work…it still doesn’t work. The pool was not properly skimming/filtering and had a lot of hair and leaves floating in it. Room was clean, but toilet flapper kept coming off of hinge point and I had to pull the tank lid off several times to fix it. The staff was great, but the place needs a maintenance guy or perhaps an additional maintenance guy. The fountain in the pool area didn’t work, door closer mechanism was broken. Minor stuff, I would stay there again ."

"An honest review: The lady who checked us in was polite, almost gushingly so, but I will take that over rude, impersonal staff any day. I booked an accessible room and advised I had a dog. Upon arrival, I was told there were no handicap pet rooms, but she made an exception for which I was grateful, but... disabled people have pets, too. I had a couple other brief encounters. They were all friendly as well. The room was reasonably comfortable overall, and TV channel choices were plentiful, though there is no "sleep mode". Then there's everything else. -Mold in the walk-in shower -a handicapped seat in the shower, but no handheld shower - no way to even get wet -Bed linens were "short sheeted" - they were put on sideways and upon climbing in bed after a long day, I had to fight to pull the sheets up. Realized the problem the next morning and just dealt with it. -The ice machine seemed broken. One lady helped by dumping a glass full of ice in the machine. (I guess it's the thought that counts), but we eventually got ice. -ALL chairs in the breakfast area are nothing short of disgusting. -the bedside light did a disco dance everytime, until it became a solid glow -the back hall door didnt close securely, making security uncertain We booked this room for being less expensive than two similar hotels next door. But less expensive should not include mold in the bathroom or filthy chairs where one eats."

"Very comfortable in a beautiful setting. Only spent one night. Everything was provided. I know it is designed to be a real getaway from everyday routines but I do wish there had been a real mirror. There is plenty of room to add one. The small 5 x7 mirror was pretty useless. And a couple more hooks for hanging things. Minor complaints but just in case they are looking for suggestions!"
