"Great view from the breakfast room. Very central to Bodmin Town Centre. Well organised - need to complete a breakfast request the day before, when you get there. Parking good - they have their own small car park. Rooms are lovely and clean. Shower room newly fitted. Really pleasant and relaxing. "

"The hotel itself was lovely and felt opulent and quite grand - until you got into the rooms. We paid quite a lot of money for what was described as a Superior Double and were told we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite as it was my wife's birthday. Sadly the first room was awful with paint coming off the walls and no bulbs in the ceiling (the wires were actually hanging down and exposed). We complained and were offered the room next door, which was bigger and seemed better, but we soon realised the furnishings were very poor quality and way past their best. The bathroom was superb but was completely out of sync with the rest of the room. The balcony was out of bounds too as it was unsafe! This was a big room but was most definitely not of a standard that merits the title of honeymoon suite."

"Lovely place to stay, food was excellent the staff friendly. Walking distance to the town and plenty of shops to visit. Views from the hotel are wonderful and king Arthur's castle is right opposite the hotel with nice views from the hotel."
