A stay at Lough Bawn house is always good for the soul. It’s a beautifully tranquil place to visit and to relax. Beautiful period house with matching decor and ambiance. Warm and comfortable to stay and read a book while looking out over the lake. Highly recommended.

Really lovely property within walking distance of Ballymagarvey Village. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided a fantastic breakfast with great gluten-free options. We accidentally left something in the room and they kindly posted it back to us, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend staying here!

From the moment we pulled up outside this stunning house it felt like a wave of calm and relaxation came over us. The drive up to it, the stunning views from the front steps, the warm welcome we received from Shira all captured the essence of this beautiful place. Stayed at the Johnstown Estate for 2 nights and we were so impressed we stayed an extra night. We couldn't fault the room, staff, spa treatments or leisure centre. Only complaint is we had bar food one of the nights and it was a bit bland, lacking seasoning. But happy with stay overall. Due to go back for a night in a months time and looking forward to it already!
