"Hotel reopened two days prior to our stay. Barry, the property owner, greeted us upon our arrival and explained that there was everything we may need in the lobby: coffee, tea, water, snacks etc. Our room and king sized bed was very comfortable. "We stayed at the Pearl St address. It’s beautiful and clean. We wished our room had a coffee maker. We are early risers. Coffee was not available downstairs until 7:30. The continental breakfast at the main building was disappointing. (No butter for the toast) We would definitely go back. Kingston is a charming town."

"To be honest I was surprised that upon entry I went downstairs to the room, but as the property is on a hill it is not a basement room. It’s Kingston and it’s a historic property - the landlords have done a lovely job, the room was well appointed, and the team were wonderfully helpful and responsive, and helped me with my bags. Parking on site was helpful. And I even did a load of laundry while there."

"This was hands-down the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic; we were able to walk to many of the shops and restaurants in town because of this. Don is an absolute gem of a host. He met us when we arrived just so he could walk us through the property and answer any questions we had, and he was always available via text. He also purchased fresh fruit and wine as a welcome to us. All of the amenities were top notch, and everything seems to have been thought through from the perspective of someone staying here. As a result, the stay truly felt like an actual vacation, rather than just a list of chores to do in a different location. If you are considering staying here, just do it…you won’t regret it!"

"Nice and clean place which was as advertised. Although we did not take advantage of the outside area it was a nice area and option. Would stay here again. Hosts were very good at providing instructions and information when requested. Air conditioning units in each room was great since we happened to have a very hot day and evening during our stay."

"Comfortable, clean, easy to find, had everything we needed. Couldn't enjoy the cute little back yard with hammock and hot tub due to rain, but it looked very nice. Bar right next door also looked fun (though didn't go inside, but the crowd was tame and everyone seemed to be having a good time--could see it from the little balcony). One thing for renters to note--there are two driveways and I was informed I should park in the one on the right. When I left during the day, someone else parked in that spot. Hosts said it was ok for me to park in the other spot, to the left of the house, but that one was taken. There was street parking available nearby so it wasn't a big deal, but be prepared to not have access to the parking space--our car was fine on the street overnight."
