"It’s an easy walk to Ocean Ave and the beach area. Staff were extremely friendly, which made the travel experience even better. Lots of dinning options in the area. I only rented a car for some of the days during my stay, so it was a perfect combination of relaxing staycation for some of the days, and venturing out on others. Instead of an older hotel with less amenities that charges the same price to be “beachfront,” I’d happily stay at the Huntley again which is a nicer option that’s just one more block away from the beach. As someone living on the east coast, that walking distance was nothing. In fact, I very much enjoyed the walk under LA weather! "

The views are breathtaking — waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying coffee on the deck each morning was unforgettable. Every detail felt carefully thought through, from the comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen to the inviting living spaces that flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors.The location couldn’t be better — private and peaceful, yet still close to everything Malibu has to offer. It truly felt like our own slice of paradise. "We stayed in the Farmhouse for 3 nights with our dog who is a 40 lb curious George of a beagle and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time here. The property is beautiful with so many different varieties of fruit trees and beautiful plants, lovely sunrises and even better sunsets over the canyon. You cannot beat the location if you want to be close to the beaches, Santa Monica, LA, Malibu and so many things to do. As for us, we just wanted a nice break from the rat race and a little down time and we got exactly that. Enjoyable cups of coffee on the porch in the morning, leisurely dinners at sunset and some cozying up under the thoughtfully provided blankets on the couch under the stars in the evening before heading to sleep under the cute and comfortable canopy bed. The hot tub was a really nice added plus to soak away your cares and stress. We even got to enjoy the claw foot bathtub for a cooler soak in the heat in the afternoon hours when the temps soared here one day. We truly "unplugged" while here and reconnected with each other, played games of scrabble and exploding kittens. We held a BBQ for dinner and roasted fresh corn on the cob, watched golden eagles soar overhead and even saw a bobcat sauntering by not far from the property on our way in. All in all, we cannot wait to come back and enjoy it all over again! "

"Absolutely charming, cozy, peaceful and beautiful pool house and garden. We loved the quiet, the birds, magnificent trees from the hot tub. The unit was comfortable with beautiful views and everything we needed for a time away from home. Easy access to many hiking trails and the Will Geer Theatrical Botanicum.
