"We were thrilled to have stayed in this Villa for a month. It is beautifully located in the northern part of Bali, right on the beach. The Villa itself is great - lovely garden and pool, which we enjoyed everyday. The true treasure of this Villa is the staff. Ayu and Epi were amazing cooks. They were always prompt and extremely personable. They did a great job keeping everything spotless. We loved getting to know them! Juta our driver was so wonderful. He was available at all times to take us wherever we wanted to go. Driving in Bali is crazy, so having an extremely competent driver is essential. We had a few places in mind that we wanted to see, but he suggested and took us to places we would not have thought of. He’s always in a great mood and he really made things fun. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a great combination of R&R and exploring Bali. What a beautiful island !!!"

"Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!"

"Beautiful, serene and far away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. Great communication by the owner Rolf and manager Dini. Our resident chef and housekeeper Iloha kept the house spick and span and her meals were delicious. Ground staff were lovely and friendly and the pool and beautiful grounds are kept pristine. The locals are friendly and you get a good opportunity to see the real/traditional Bali. These are the things we wish we’d known before going- the drive from Kuta has 2 routes. The shorter route is absolutely terrifying and I would not recommend it. The longer route (add 30 minutes) is by far less nerve racking. The villa is an end villa and one of 3, you are separated from the next villa by a hedge/garden border and you can hear and see your neighbors. It is not ‘secluded’ per say, however is in a secluded area. In saying that, the nearest Western supermarket/alcohol is in Lovina, do any shopping on your way to the villa. There is an ATM in Seritit. Bugs- lots of biting ants. repellent required. Air conditioning- only the bedrooms are air conditioned, the main living area has only fans and gets very warm. The pool is great however it got too hot to swim in by mid afternoon some days. Swimming in the sea-you need swim booties to swim safely. There are cats. I would implore anyone traveling to anywhere in Bali to take some pet food/ basic flea treatments etc.to help with the issues with the cats/dogs. Lastly, an absolute must is the wild dolphin trip- incredibly."

"This property was even better in real life than the listing. It is beautiful, great pool, right on the beach, so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were outstanding and Kadek the cook made the best meals. Our food prepared by her surpassed all of our restaurant meals. Ketut the customer service was so helpful. She suggested activities, and arranged everything we asked of her. It made everything run so smooth and with very little thought. There was a property book that provided a lot of additional information that we didn't know we needed. We hope to return to Bali, and we WILL stay here again, we hated to leave."
