"A trip back in time, all was fantastic, accommodations from upkeep, rooms, restaurant food and the drinks in the lobby bar was fantastic. The hotel gives you the feeling of going 50 years back in time. Southern charm and hospitality. And not to forget the Duck ceremony every day, going from the fountain up to their sleeping quarters on the roof."

When I arrived the person at the front desk looked like he was having a herpes break out on his lip they make you stand outside when you can walk in they lock the doors they give keys an change the key to lock the door every day so don’t be carrying it stuff or you’ll walking to the desk to fix "

"The house is a lovely older home built probably around 1900-1925. It has large rooms, lots of character, and plenty of space. It is evident care has been taken to update it. However, that being said, this is Memphis and not all areas of Memphis feel safe. All of the reviews I had read for this home were good, but the area just was not for me and my family. Obviously, previous guests have not had a problem, so maybe it was just us, but we chose to go to a hotel."
