"Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"Denise is a beautiful, friendly, considerate and very welcoming landlady. Her home baked Irish breads are fantastic. We were there ten days and she baked bread for us on three separate days as gifts. Absolutely delicious. We won't hesitate in staying at her beautiful self contained property again. "The house has a very nicely supplied kitchen and the beds we’re comfortable. There are two double beds and one twin, not three doubles. There are three bathrooms, but only one has a stand up shower. One has no shower and one has a handheld shower wand. We had no hot water for our 1-night say, which was really unfortunate, given it was quite warm and we’d all walked a bunch and needed to clean up."
