So close to the train stations we arrived and departed from. It’s about a 30-40 min walk to the business district where shopping, eateries and main attractions are located and wasn’t a big deal to us to walk.
The one thing I was very disappointed with was check out. The night we arrived the host was not super fluent in English, but that wasn’t a problem as my daughter is pretty fluent and her and the host did most of the talking. BTW, she’s 21 yrs old. They discussed all the arrangements and rules and relayed them to me. I told the host that our train doesn’t depart until after 4pm and check out is 12pm so where do we store our luggage? He said you can keep it here. I asked if he was meaning if they didn’t have to room booked for the next day and he said no and keep the bags here until you’re ready to leave. I said great!
Next day around 1pm the host texts me saying we need to pack up and leave. Check out is 12pm. I was confused and asked I thought we could keep our bags there until we are ready to leave? He said no. He has people coming and the place needs cleaned up. We were a little upset as we were 30-40 min away, had to cut our visit short and return to pack up and leave then sit in a train station for 2 hrs instead of 30-45 minutes. I have a hunch he got a booking at the last second because the day we were leaving was December 31st. Could of just told me the truth and go back on what he told us not less than 24hrs earlier that the bags could stay.

Everything was great except for the shower. The temperature ranged from freezing to scalding and the pressure was not good.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Nice room, excellent location, great staff. But, there was a foul smell/odor coming out from somewhere, maybe bathroom. Like sewage water, really bad that took over the whole room. We had to ask for spray deodorizer that helped a bit, but the smell would come back.

Hotel central to city , rooms tired and in need of updating , the room we had was not like any pictures we saw on website which was disapointing , breakfasts good value .

Location was wonderful. Nearby places to eat/drink plentiful. Around the corner from a little plaza with a fountain and a couple of nice restaurants. Near the Ayuntamiento, the bull ring, and the old train station. For those places you cannot walk to, it is easy to hail a taxi at the corner. Small elevator can be busy depending on time of day. Our particular room is for people who are very comfortable with each other -- the bathroom has an old-style sliding door that leaves a small gap when closed, which means you can hear (not see) whatever goes on inside. Staff nice and helpful.

So clean and our room was gorgeous. It was an excellent location, we were close to everything.
