I had a truly wonderful stay at Hospes Palau de la Mar. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is elegant, perfectly located in the Ensanche district, and within walking distance to both the old town and Turia Gardens. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed with a blend of classic charm and modern comfort. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and the ambiance exceeded expectations. Breakfast was fresh, with a good variety and high quality. Overall, it was a peaceful and luxurious experience. I highly recommend Hospes Palau de la Mar for anyone visiting Valencia looking for a refined and relaxing stay.

This is a great hotel ! Very peaceful and clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful ( particularly Jésus) . Good location. There are some renovations going on in the courtyard but they didn’t disturb us at all. The room layout is good.

Everything was very comfortable. AC was fantastic during unseasonably hot weather. Only complaint was that doors to rooms closed very loudly so whenever someone left their room it made a lot of noise. Great location and we walked wherever we needed to. Hotel restaurant provided a nice dinner when we arrived the first night.

This hotel is a total home run. We were leaving the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. On our way to Marbella. I needed an overnight stay. Who would've thought we would fall deeply in love with Valencia. This hotel has it all. It's adjacent to the park… It has a serviceable restaurant and a pleasant bar. The rooms are magnificent with a wonderful rainforest style shower and etc. The hotel staff are beyond pleasant… And we're willing to put up with my halting Spanish practicing since everyone speaks perfect English. They greeted us with a welcome drink in the courtyard and there's so many good restaurants just around the corner. If you want a reservation for diva do it in advance, but Mamma pasta was also spectacular and not terribly expensive. Walk just a little further when you're in the shopping district on Colon Street. Of the coastal cities we have visited so far in Spain this was by far the best night of our trip.

Great Location, Very Good Hotel, but not 5*

First point to make...it just doesn't look like or feel like 5* hotel. Hence felt a let down. However it doesn't mean the hotel is bad. It's very good indeed, just missing expected facilities like a proper pool. Pool is essentially a large jacuzzi. Location of the hotel is brilliant though, it is great for walk in the city. Great restaurants around, good bars and clubs too. Very good staff too. Very friendly. I got a free upgrade too, though my friend didn't. Rooms are fine too Greatest let down, infact scarily too is the restaurant. They have a good looking tasting menu, but we're told that we needed to ask for it in advance of few hours. Was never mentioned before, pretty strange too. Next we ordered from the dinner menu. Starters were fine. Main course was dangerously poor. Ordered lamb but it was with hair and it seemed like the server knew it. He took it away immediately, it really annoyed me that I was served food that was known to be bad. I was offered duck as a replacement. That was even worse, it came grossly undercooked, it was rwa and red inside and with blood oozing out. So, recommend not to try the restaurant, if you want to stay safe. Many good restaurants in walkable distance anyway.

The whole experience at HOSPES Palau de Mar was exceptional! Laura and Federico at the reception were amazing and very helpful in guiding us since this was our first visit to Valencia. We would definitely recommend and stay here on our next visit.

Fantastic hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the junior suite and it was a big space with great decor. The bath was a delight to use. The location was perfect as they had many restaurants and bars and not too far from the main attractions. The hotel restaurant food was excellent too. We would definitely like to stay again.
