Great location , on one of the main pedestrianised streets that runs the length of Valleta . Close to the bus station and taxi rank and easily accesable to all the main attractions including cafes,bars and restaurants . This boutique hotel has been sympathetically restored from the original 17th centuary palazzo retaining many of its original features icluding the central courtyard .

Lovely hotel in a great location. All key sights are within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely and clean. Has a lovely terrace, where you can relax and enjoy a drink.

The hotel is perfectly situated for all of the main sightseeing attractions and outside you have access to a large range of shops to enjoy. When we arrived we were sat down, provided glasses of prosecco and upgraded to a premium suite. Beautiful room with lounge on lower floor and bedroom upstairs, only one point to add that it has no natural light but that did not bother us at all, added to our superb stay. Breakfast is a la carte with a continental breakfast and hot food, quality outstanding. Bus terminal is 3 mins walk and hotel hospitality is second to none. All staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and always attentive to your needs. Our stay flew by and thankyou to everyone for making it a special time.

Excellent hotel, but choose a quiet room.
The staff was excellent, the beds were extremely comfortable, and breakfast and coffee were delicious. The staff moved us from Room #13 because it looks down on a busy/noisy street and the window next to the bed is not soundproof.

This gem of a property is right at the start of lively Republic Street in beautiful Valletta. Not only is the property a stunning former palazzo, the staff are a delight! From the moment you walk in the door , you have a family to catch up with daily. First name basis, nonetheless. They truly care about their guests and go out if their way to make their guest’s stays memorable and enjoyable. Special thanks to Francesca, Maria, and Moul, truly enjoyed sharing stories and learning more about our different cultures. Please consider staying at this gem of a boutique hotel, it is a great value.

My wife and I had the most amazing stay. It's a stunning small boutique hotel. From the moment we entered the leaving a few days later we were looked after incredibly well. Moul the GM was amazing. Always checked in with us and gave amazing tips on places to visit and eat. All his staff were equally engaged. I simply cannot recommend this place enough. Left yesterday and missing it already. Overall the service was so bespoke and tailored I would rate it better than some of the best 5* hotels Ive ever stayed at.

For our first wedding anniversary holiday to Malta we based ourselves at Domus Zamittello in Valletta, enticed by its central location and beautiful interior. The staff were all extremely helpful. During our stay it was the Maltese Victory Day bank holiday, and our hotelier told us the best places to go to watch the public celebrations, which was a welcome touch. During breakfast, the hotel manager, Moul, comes round to check everything is fine with your stay and learn a bit about you and what brings you to Valletta. After mentioning one morning that we'd come for our anniversary, we were pleasantly surprised later that afternoon to find that bottle of bubbles had been left in our room for us to enjoy, which we took up to the hotel terrace and sipped alone as we looked out over the square. They also booked restaurants for us over the phone (we'd tried to book via email in advance, but par for the course these days, you don't get any reply), which made our time in Valletta much smoother as we weren't striving to get into well known places such as Nenu's. Their own restaurant recommendations like The Old Bakery were also great. The hotel is situated just across the pedestrian bridge from the bus station, and since we were sightseeing every day it made going places easy. We had the perfect time at Domus Zamittello. I encourage anyone who wants to stay in Valletta to consider a room here.

Wonderful Hotel in Valletta
We have had an amazing stay in Domus Zammitello this week - the hotel is in a beautiful building right in the city centre. The staff couldn’t do enough for us - friendly and professional in every aspect. The rooms were very clean and a great size - the bed was incredibly comfy too! Would highly recommend.

We just stayed 5 nights at Domus Zamitello and had a wonderful time! The staff here were so hospitable. Every morning they would ask us what our plan was for the day; give suggestions and tips and go out of their way to help us. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our room was spacious for a European room, and the location was walkable for Valletta and the theee city’s. Parking is off site but close by. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

The building itself is beautiful and we were in a lovely suite full of history, character and charm. We were welcomed with a drink on arrival which was much appreciated. The staff were all extremely helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The toiletries were nice and the hairdryer in the room was much better than most (I needn't have taken my own)! The property is in an excellent location for all the historic sites, museums, shopping and nightlife, but as it is right on the main street and is the main route home for party-goers at night, I would suggest asking for a room at the back. Breakfast was OK, there was plenty on offer but nothing to really write home about. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but the staff were happy to make recommendations and reservations elsewhere. It is a very elegant hotel and I would definitely return for another special occasion.

This was possibly the very best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The hotel is a lovely facility in a magic location and the staff was far and above the most helpful I’ve ever experienced. From our initial greeting, to assisting in making sightseeing arrangements, to navigating a tricky airline reservation, the staff excelled. The hotel is in the old city in Valletta. It is charming and comfortable. The included breakfast was a relaxing event, with a wonderful menu. There are only about 22 rooms, and there is a wonderful roof top terrace available. Housekeeping was excellent.

Domus Zamitello Hotel is a gem in beautiful Valletta. Everything was picture perfect! It is very well located in Valletta’s city center. We had a smooth check in, the luxury and updated room came with all amenities you look for while traveling: a comfortable bed, great shower, minibar and many more. The daily and delicious a la carte full breakfast is impressive. And, most importantly, the entire hotel staff at the reception desk, housekeeping and restaurant are the best and deserve a standing ovation. A special mention to Fabian, he is a real gem who made us feel at home and even arranged our breakfast to be ready ready at 3:30am before leaving for the airport at 4am. Congratulations Domus Zamitello!! I will recommend your hotel to my family and friends and continue keeping the same excellence in all you do. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding services. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Valletta. My wife and I stayed for a week and we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, especially Sandra in reception and the wonderful breakfast team. The hotel is conveniently located on the main thoroughfare and only 50 meters from the bus terminal. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and airy. We would definitely return, Highly recommended.

Location is excellent. However walls are thin and acoustics would be problematic if you had a noisy neighbour

Excellent boutique hotel
Staff and receptionist are very friendly. Excellent location close to everything. There is a bus terminal in 5 mins walk and you can get to everywhere in Malta. All the sightseeing are nearby. It has a spectacular view in the atrium of the hotel. High ceiling window can be open and close where u can see the clouds overheads. Hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated and has original architecture. Plenty of choice for the breakfast. Would use them again if we ever go to Valletta again.

Best rooftop in Valetta
So well located. Fun to stay in this unique elegant space. We took a drink and enjoyed our own 'private terrace' on rooftop with the best view in town.

A Perfect 10 Hotel
What a fabulous, spotless, elegant and friendly experience I had here--really a top-notch stay from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, impeccably detailed, and the location simply can't be beat. The breakfast was really exceptional, as was the service and atmosphere, not to mention the warm and professional staff across the entire hotel. Couldn't recommend Domus Zamittello enough!
