"Stayed at the Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel & Conference Centre for one night before an early flight. Very disappointing experience due to inconsistent and unfair enforcement of their room occupancy policy. We had booked multiple rooms with two queen beds for families with young children. Despite identical family setups (2 adults + 2 kids under 10), staff applied the “3 people per room” rule inconsistently—one family was allowed to stay together, while others were either forced to pay for an extra room or split up late at night with exhausted children. One person even chose to sleep at the airport rather than pay extra. The lack of consistency and empathy made an already tiring travel day much worse. Would not recommend for families."

"The food in the restaurant is mediocre; the “hotel shuttle” from the airport never came after 3 phone calls and an hour wait! The property is 3 minutes from the Airport "

"Despite the hotel’s beautiful location, my stay was extremely disappointing. I was devastated to be given possibly the worst room in the hotel. A ‘superior double’ on level 2 (number 212). It faces the side street, so close to the pavement that I could hear every passer by throughout the night. At 5.45am you have the noise from the street cleaners, local shops, deliveries etc making it impossible to sleep! On top of that, the live entertainment from the bar was so loud in my room until late that I had to put on noise cancelling headphones to get some peace. One curtain could not be fully closed because there was no rail?! This felt both cheap and careless - allowing street lights to shine into the room all night. The bathroom offered no better privacy or comfort, so I ended up showering with the lights off. The wardrobe randomly had no handles?! so I really struggled to open it… Dinner was ok, I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and they have a nice selection of wines. After reading previous reviews I was disappointed to find the reception staff unfriendly when I was leaving, which only reinforced the poor impression left by the stay. Although maybe if I had had better sleep I wouldn’t have minded so much. It is such a shame, because I was genuinely excited about this stay and although the setting is lovely, after this experience and the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long time, I would not return."

"This is a perfect one might stay hotel for an early morning flight. The staff is excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. I booked and paid for my airport shuttle the night before when i checked in so my morning departure was smooth and hassle free."

"Fantastic stay here for 3 nights. Great location in como, amazing breakfast with prosecco even included. Staff very helpful. Free room upgrade too which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend a stay at the Palace hotel. "

"Check in took far too long because systems were slow, other than that staff were helpful. Breakfast they had a good selection. We used the shuttle service, which was prompt and reliable. "
