Where do i begin. For starters some of the staff are rude and this is even when u ask nicely. Second the rooms condition is utterly disgusting. Dog hair on the bed, mold in the shower curtains, absolute zero air conditioning so u have to open the windows. Which means u will get eaten alive by the mosquitos. It takes a while for the water in the shower to get warm. Beddings are stained. The rooms look nothing like the pics, having all the walls stained, the chair was about to break. Only one outlet to charge ur devices. This is the type of place where u go when u have no money worse than a motel.

Lovely area but the hotel was rustic to say the least, rooms are average sized for the area i would say but the view was awful, the bathroom and bedrooms are dirty, dusty and so dated they must of got the furniture out of marco polos house, staff are lovely and accommodating but a good lick of paint, a clean and some refurbishment wouldnt go a miss, overall 3 out of 5

A weekend in Venice
Firstly i want to say that the staff at the hotel were lovely. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It is in a brilliant location near all the transport links so very easy to get everywhere The hotel is very tired and they seem to be renovating. I think the only rooms already completed are the ones pictured on the website. Unfortunately the first room we were allocated was not suitable for 2 people and should be resigned to single occupancy. I would classify a double room as both people being able to get in and out of bed without having to climb over their partner because the bed is against the wall with a 1ft gap down the other side. We asked to be moved which we were without any fuss. The second room was much better in size though in need of redecoration a more comfortable bed and bedding. The other disappointment was the bar was not in use and neither was the courtyard due to renovations. It was a real shame that we were unable to purchase a drink and socialise a little within the hotel. They had a fridge in which they had bottles of larger, individual bottles of bellini and cans of coke but once purchased at reception the only place to go was your room. Please open your bar and courtyard as soon as possible. If not update your website to say that they are currently closed. I would stay here again but only if the bar and courtyard are open.

Enjoyed 2-night stay and better than expected
Enjoyed our two-night stay and had better experience than I expected based on reviews, which might be due to off season right now. Breakfast space is good, and all staffs were nice and helpful. Definitely I would recommend this hotel.

This is a 3 stars hotel located at good distance of the train station and the center of the city. Facilities need some renovation. Staff is kind. Price was convinient.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. It was a 4 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. The view from the front rooms was amazing! We had a corner room with 2 windows that overlooked the grand canal and 2 bridges. For the price you couldn't ask for a better location or view. The rooms were what you would expect for the price. They could have used a better cleaning on the pillows & blankets, but again what we expected for the price. There is a safe in the room but you need to pay a 10 Euro fee in cash to the front desk to get the key. We tried to return our key and get our cash back but the front desk was closed and therefore we were told we could not get our money back. If we knew that in advance we would have returned the key the night before. Breakfast in the morning was conveniently location on the first floor of the hotel. It was average with a machine that made the coffee/espresso/cappuccino for you. Overall it was what we expected for the money paid.

After reading the reviews I was not expecting much but the place was not bad for the price. Its a bit run down but other than that it was good.

At first we had a room in second floor, but the ceiling in front of the room door was fallen, so we asked for a new room, they gave us a room in third floor which was the worst room ever in any hotel in any country I have been so far. The room was small, the table the chair, windows, airconditioner, all was in a terrible state. I suggest any one who want to rent a room in this hotel to think again, the price is cheap in that area, but it is better to pay a bit more and have a good time. The breakfast was good.

Cheap and cheerful
One night stay due to delayed flight. Went for a cheap a cheerful hotel and that’s exactly what we got. This hotel has a 5* position on the canal but leads a lot of investment. It is very rundown, and the owners just need to cherish it. Perfect position from the train and bus station after a long day it was nice to get to the hotel. The reception was straightforward but not over friendly. Second floor room, no elevator and two steep flights of stairs. A/C working in the room. Canal view but curtains didn’t close. Bathroom mouldy, shower not working, no plug in the sink and flush mechanism falling off the wall. One out of two showers not working. Bed ok and got good sleep. Breakfast simple and chaotic with self help. Checkout easy and they kept bags until we went to the airport. If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel then this is ok but I wouldn’t go back voluntarily

tHi hotel was not as described by hotels .com. It was very run down, dirty and trip hazards everywhere. DONT BOOK. I sat on the bed - which was sagging and lumpy!! We did not stay and although we requested a refund we did not receive this. The front of house were rude and did not care. we booked this hotel as we had an early flight in the morning and wanted to be close to get a taxi.

Staff is very friendly the Hotel is clean, but everything is very very old. TV wasn't working. WiFi only works in the lobby. Is good if you are staying for 1 or 2 nights. Everything is walking distance.

Don’t go to this hotel!! -When we arrived the ladies at the reception were doing each other fingers and having an argument as we were checking in!!! -The room itself is old and damaged. -The air conditioning does not work -We asked for a double bed we got 2 single beds. -‘The view’ is nice but you can’t enjoy it because you are in the street as soon as you open the window everyone can see you -The breakfast was mediocre (bread, some spreads, cakes and the most disgusting juice I have ever drank) -The worst part is the noise you cannot sleep, you can hear everything at night from the street and in the morning you can hear everyone checking out and eating their breakfast. Not worth the price stay away.

Do not stay here! The hotel should be rated at less than a 1 star. Only redeeming quality is the location is right on the canal. Other than that, it is filthy, rundown, in disrepair, mold in the bathrooms, filthy floors, wires and cables hanging out of the wall sockets, lightbulbs burnt out, common areas unkept and filthy, furniture in breakfast area falling apart, food was fruit from a can, croissants gooey and uncooked. Hotel wifi doesn't work. Rude hotel staff provided an alternate "public wifi" network to try with weak security. Only worked in lobby, not in rooms. Asked to speak to manager, who never showed up.

Absolutely disgusting excuse for a hotel. Wouldn’t even let a Rat stay here. Complete room was filthy, stench of damp, mould everywhere, curtains ripped and didn’t close, waited 5 minutes to even check in as the receptionist was too busy trying to decide between KFC or Burger King for her dinner. Checked in and out within 15 minutes. The place should be closed down.

Location is very close to the railway station and other public transport. Wifi is not available in the room and is only available near the reception area. They shouldn’t be providing wrong information for the services they don’t provide. Toilet tissue was missing and heater was not working properly and can be a concern during winter. Breakfast was good.

It was convenient to rail terminal and staff was very friendly. Low rating is due to wi-fi only working couple hours and sheets had stains.
