"Hotel Montecarlo was in an awesome location. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk away from the water bus which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. They also helped us bring our bags up to the room. The rooms were dated, but very clean and had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable."

"We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was so friendly & helpful, going above & beyond. At one point I had to go to the hospital due to illness & the receptionist called me a taxi after explaining my options for transport & what to expect when I arrived at the hospital. The food in the restaurant was delicious (had all the vegan options). We were grateful the train station was conveniently located directly behind the hotel & it was a quick 20 min to Venice (island). I would absolutely stay here again."

"Hotel is in a fantastic location situated in the centre of Venice. A short walk to all the main points of interest. Hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely recommend paying for a canal view, our room was wonderful with lovely views over the canal, even just having the window open and listening to the locals go about their daily life was great. Highly recommend it and would stay again if we're ever fortunate enough to return. "
