"Very average, beds felt very dusty. A lot of the buttons in the room to control the temperature or curtains did not work very well. TV remote also required a few presses on each button, sound didn’t work until we had to call to have it fixed and some channels took a long time to load. Staff not the most pleasant. The spa and pool area was nice and relaxing. Overall the hotel was okay but would not rush back. "

"The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, the location is great for getting around as the station is so close. I also appreciated that the window in the room could open as I like fresh air. I didn’t like that you could hear the footsteps of the people on the floor above. The air conditioning system didn’t make sense to me and was hard to operate so the room was cold, not ideal when coming out of the shower. There wasn’t a phone in the room so no way to contact reception if I needed anything, this is also very questionable regarding safe guarding. My phone signal was exceptionally bad when in the room and you had to create an account to join the Wi-Fi which I didn’t want to do. If in need for one night it’s good enough, but I wouldn’t recommend staying any longer than that"

"A fair amount of noise in the building and outside it. The check in was slightly uncomfortable as the space/reception felt more like a cupboard and the foyer was into a stairwell with no signage or clear instructions. I was glad that my colleagues were very understanding and definitely wouldn’t book again with work colleagues. One of our group lost her key card and was made to wait in her room for 20 minutes while they found a solution which seemed to be a big issue despite us paying an additional £20 for the lost key card as they ‘don’t have any extras’. The rooms were run down with stained bed sheets and faded towels and dirty curtains but in the most part the bathroom and kitchen were clean. Some plug sockets in the rooms didn’t work and some rooms didn’t have windows. "
