"Fantastic friendly staff, great pools, complex is a bit old and tired but lovely grounds and amenities, and still a lovely hotel. Room servicing was good, turndown service was a bit hit and miss, laundry service was efficient, restaurant was quite good, shuttle was awesome and the drivers were exceptionally accomodating and helpful, golf was great, course is a little rough but the caddies were great. The only thing that irked us was that when we paid cash for a drink at the pool bar, or golf course fees, change was not forthcoming. I don’t mind handing it back as a tip but it shouldn’t be assumed. We had no such issue inside the hotel at the bar. "

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful modernized oasis with a secure courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre of Victoria Falls. The staff and management were very friendly and keen to get feedback. Large rooms with modern fixtures but traditional solid wood furniture. Lacks fridges and tv’s in the regular rooms but management is working on that. Like everything in Victoria Falls, it’s not inexpensive but worth it."

"Property is nice. Location is good. It's a solid 4 star but not a 5. We arrived after 5 pm and our room was not ready. Bathrobes were not in room. Housekeeping failed to empty trash can. Nightly turndown service was a plus. Breakfast was fine. "

"The place was awesome. The people were even better. It is located in a nice quiet area with a short walk into town or you can get a shuttle. We had early morning excursions and they accommodated our schedule with breakfast when we needed it. The place is super clean. They are always cleaning something. We especially like the front desk staff Charmine and driver Eric. But everyone we met was super friendly and nice. It was also great to have some English channels on TV. "
