Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at this property, we will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Victoria. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The unit was tastefully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. Thankyou!!

Lovely time on Bear Mountain
Comfortable, cozy, clean and well-appointed, as always. Very close to our family in Bear Mountain community, so easy to visit & help with the little ones. Love to visit, feels like a holiday!

Lovely, well appointed , cosy room . Lots of special touches including ; complimentary bottle of wine, bowl of candies , and excellent selection of teas and coffee. Bed and pillows are very comfy and the toiletries provided are very nice! I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone .

Getaway in Bear Mountain
Although we did not meet Heather, her communication was excellent. There was no problem finding her house. Parking was easy beside the suite. We found trails very close by which led to a forested area and the beautiful Valley Golf Course. The reviews on Jack's Place in the Bear Mountain complex were not favourable, so we retraced our steps to Langford and enjoyed our evening meal at the Log House. The Rack was way too noisy. The bottle of wine Heather left for us was a lovely touch. Our room was cosy, the bed very comfortable, loved the shower area, and good water pressure.

We loved staying at Ben and Heathers cozy and beautifully decorated bungalow below their house. Lots of personal touches and so convenient to all you want to see in Victoria. Highly recommend

It was a great stay. The only downside was that the noise upstairs definitely could definitely be heard during the night. Just something to consider for light sleepers. Otherwise, it was very nice and a great choice for those planning to visit Victoria and surrounding districts.

Hyper convenient location!
This was super! After you get down out of the neighborhood, there’s tons of restaurants and a dinosaur themed liquor store! Did I need a liquor store? No. Did I stop to take dino photos? You betcha! Quiet location, though it is a downstairs apartment. Hosts were clearly very sensitive to that, we heard nary a peep after like 8PM!

Room was ready when we arrived clean and well appointed with coffee bar, mini fridge and micro wave. Directions to to property were provided by the owner and were accurate. Instructions to gain entry were easy. Street parking was available. There is building construction in the area so daytime parking was a little tighter though we were out during the daytime. Walking trails everywhere with beautiful views. The owner experienced a personal tragedy and there was some noise related to abnormal owner-guest traffic. The owners were very apologetic and receptive to our feedback. We would stay again.

Ben and Heather are gracious hoat On Ben’s recommendation I was able to plan well and was able to navigate Victoria’s attractions with ease. The property is immaculately clean and the mountain surrounding is quite and beautiful

A small basement bedroom and adjoining bathroom which was very comfortable with everything was provided. Unfortunately children playing garage hockey made it quite noisy when relaxing outside. Every footstep could also be heard from the room directly overhead. Overall a pleasant stay with great amenities.

Great Location/ Great Space
We arrived for a four day stay, plenty of room to unpack. Lots of hangers in closet and drawers to put things into. Beautifully decorated with a seating area that was not your bed. When we arrived a bottle of rose’ and chocolates awaited us. You have your own entrance so you can come and go without disturbing anyone. Its close to lots of restaurants, Jacks Place is only a 5 min drive or 15 min walk. Definitely would recommend it and would stay there again.

So much potential
While in a great location with many nice personal touches the getaway was spoiled by the noisy upstairs occupants. We had to call to have them quiet down. No permanent heating source just a small but noisy fan heater. The bed was a bit too high off the ground..i am only 5 feet tall, i almost needed a step to get on it. Otherwise very clean and comfortable.

Everything was carefully thought out. It was truly impeccable (and I am usually one to clean when I arrive at a lodging, be it an RB&B or hotel…) If we were to absolutely find a minus, we would say it was a little chilly although the heater made in difference. Thank you!

Great location & amenities as always. The usual wonderful comfort of this VRBO was hampered by the fact that it was quite cold (heater was off) when we arrived. Despite turning the heater to high the whole time we were there, it continued to remain quite cool, the first time we have experienced this. Obviously, the unusually below average temperatures were a factor.

This place is superb! Decor just invites relaxation. The owners have put a great deal of effort to make it so. High end toiletries, lots of storage for clothing, patio area, I could go on and on. Honestly, I could actually live there.

This is great value for your dollar. It is a very nice, clean and warm location. The owners added a few extra nice touches like a bottle of wine, some water and sweets - a very nice touch. Also, some great books to check out. I'd highly recommend it.

Probably the most coziest place we have ever stayed at. The decor, candles, coffee/tea, books and wine were perfect. I didn’t want to leave the suite. The host was very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely recommend.

Nice and clean and tidy. Lots of "stuff" to make it look trendy; but money would have been better spent on a bigger fridge, some kind of table and chairs to eat and study at. On-street parking only. Couldn't get into property at promised time. Ambiguous, conflicting and unfulfilled instructions for access. Abysmal communications. Terrible noise from another part of the building on last morning there ... woman screaming and cursing uncontrollably. Wouldn't stay there again.

Beautiful home on Bear Mountain
Very quaint and beautiful honeymoon suite! Access it to the side of the house, very easy and convenient. It isn't in a basement - there is lots of natural light. All the small touches added are really very lovely - from a coffee machine with a variety of choices, chocolates, and a nice warm room on arrival, everything was just perfect. I would definitely stay here again my next time visiting Langford!

Can't say enough about this beautiful vrbo. It was perfect close to golf and everything else.
This property was very comfortable and clean. Coffee, tea, etc were all supplied. The only thing missing was a toaster. It was easy to book this vrbo and was exactly the way it was advertised. We will return and recommend this property to all our family and friends. Thank you to the owners for making our stay perfect.
