"After four days on a small boat with two kids, I was hot, grubby and ready to check into this lovely hotel. During the process, I needed to step away to get my passport. In that brief moment, a tour guide pushed her way into my place and started checking in her group of 10. That was a bit rude but the front desk person made it right. I appreciate that she took the care to not offend either of us and the desk people got us all efficiently checked in. Our room was perfect, the pool refreshing and the surrounding area great. We left on the ferry the next day with a soft spot for this hotel. I'd definitely come back again."

"The view is hard to beat. Staff is very efficient and friendly, and the property is well maintained and very quiet. Right in the heart of downtown, with enclosed underground parking, You can walk just a few blocks to dozens of excellent restaurants, lots of shopping and boutiques, a beautiful walk along the harbor, or stroll down to see the Empress Hotel and the gorgeous government buildings. Kitchens are well appointed, and the bathrooms are beautifully lit and very well done. Beds are very comfortable and beautiful linens Tons of closet space! The glass fronting walls to the harbor and the balcony walkout are fabulous. We spent a great deal of time just watching the harbor,- the seaplanes landing, the water taxis and the ferries coming and going. One of our favorite places when we want to get away and relax! "
