Older buildings but clean, spacious room with comfortable beds. No air conditioning but the large windows cooled the room at night. Helpful staff gave tips, directions and called taxis for us.

overall this place was great, the interiors were beautiful, and it even has an auto-heat rack to dry your towels. It's not too far from the city area where you can walk but if we wanted to go somewhere far using public transportation, it seems you would have to walk a little farther and have to switch transportation. We ended up using Uber most of the time which is still good. Our flight came in really early before the staff came in so we had trouble leaving our luggage. But the staff were handsome and provided friendly service.

This was our first time in Vienna. Hotel was ok. Very dated and cleanliness needs addressing. Stains on linen , pillows and very lump mattresses. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have. Reception helpful on arrival until change of staff ( unhelpful). Overall average

The property is outdated and it’s not easy to get in to your room. Staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Hotel is in a good location but again it needs some TLC

Good location but awful beds
Great location. Helpful staff. One of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel and I travel about 6 times a year! Very very soft beds left us all with a sore back. Razor like bed sheets left us all itchy.

Property location was good; room was clean; bed was comfortable. Our first stay we had upgraded double room; we returned 4 days later to basic double room. The basic room was much smaller but was ok for one night.

The WORST mattress I have ever used. The room was not dusted and cleaned, only changed towels and rolled the bed covers. The location was not bad but the beds were just BAD.

The location can't be faulted, it's definitely very convenient. There are other charms to the hotel such as the lift (quite a novelty), and the spaciousness of the rooms. However, we booked this as 4 star accommodation - it's not. The facilities are 3 star at best (pay for water the room, the only tea/coffee facilities are at an extra charge at reception, no safe in room, no shelving for clothes - just hanging space), the bathroom in our room was tiny meaning the towels were shoved in under the sink, the bathroom is higher in level than the room, except that this isn't noticable as the step is mirrored so just reflects the carpet around it. The area around the lift and staircase is dirty - marking all over the walls that show it's clearly not being maintained. There was a dirty tatty rug outside the door to our bedroom wing - this had no rubber edges or base to keep it in place for people walking over it or rolling a suitcase, so it was basically just a trip hazard that would be better off in the bin. The bed was okay, but my partner found it on the small side due to the bed having a footboard. Overall the accommodation was okay. Didn't feel ripped off, but don't think I'd stay there again or recommend it to others.

Nice quiet hotel walking distance to the city centre, less than 15 minutes. Close to the underground & shops & coffee shops eg Hotel provide an excellent transfer from the airport, hassle free, very polite driver . ( make sure you have cash ready for your transfer) l did not have enough money , plus could not pay by card . He was so kind and let me to pay the difference next day to the hotel . Luck of fresh coffee in the room .Otherwise very good stay !

Good shower and good service
Check in was easy and the room was large. The shower pressure was great and the water got nice and hot quickly. The location was a little far from the Inner City and main train station but the price was very reasonable.

Good location, comfortable, convenient
In a great location, 5-10 mins from Rathaus depending on your pace. Public transport all around to get you all over the city. The hotel was comfort and the rooms were to a good standard. I'm fussy when it comes to bathrooms and can say this hotels bathroom was good, a spacious room with a large shower. The bed was comfortable, however I found I sank too much into it and was sometimes a struggle to get out, as it was very close to the wall. The only negative comment I can make is around 6-7am everyday there seemed to be a lot of noise coming from inside the hotel. I don't know if it was other guests leaving or cleaners going up and down the stairs (the lift is tiny) but it disturbed my sleep everyday.

WE arrived on New Year’s Day and the staff were very accommodating. The room was huge with a balcony overlooking the courtyard which was perfect for us to watch the snow fall.

Good location, spacious room, freshly renovated. Problem are neighboring rooms: You can hear everything even when people are not loud. Sound isolation is not good. Staff is helpful, location is close to city hall / center.

Very good location, 10 minutes from Rathaus and a really safe area. Nice size rooms with comfy beds and large TV. Staff all seemed friendly and greet you with a smile. Slight downside was that if was often very noisy first thing in the morning. Would likely stay there again though.

An old hotel with good location
It looks clean and cute in picture online, but it wasn't actually so. It's just an old hotel. Room was ok, clean enough to stay overnight. You have to cross 2-3 different doors to get into your room. Bathroom was ok. Elevator is very old, felt like it could break any time we were in it. Service was good. Wifi was good. Breakfast was not free but cheap. There is no AC in the hotel so keep that in mind if you travel to Vienna in the height of summer. Parking on the street so take time to find parking and be prepared to walk back to hotel after finding a parking. Surrounding areas are great. About 40 minutes walking to Hoffsburg. You can find plenty of things to do and places to entertain.

The location of this hotel is pretty good, near the university. The neighborhood is safe. The public transportation options are multiple. The staff at the reception was all right. The room was ok. There was no A/C in the room. Limited amenities.

Nice hotel an a reasonably convenient location
Easy 10 minute walk to the Rathaus U station. Right on the tram route if you can figure out the trams :) The room was like an IKEA showroom. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was typical Austrian with soft boiled eggs and lots of bread.

Great Budget Hotel
Reasonable priced hotel within walking distance to the city centre and metro. Staff were friendly and helpful, they even lets us check in early which was great. Rooms are fairly clean. Our only disappointment was the lack of hot water on the last two days.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had many questions and due to a personal medical condition we need to change our room, which the staff did for us in a timely and wonderful manner. The staff at this hotel will make your stay a memorable one. This hotel was located within about ten minutes of city centre, very close to trams and transit, and surrounded by wine bars, cafes and restaurants

Convenient location, modest price.
The hotel staff provide really good information when asked and are very accommodating. There is no air conditioning so it can be very hot in the room even with a fan. The internet does not always work well. However, the hotel is close to the city tram and it will take you to train stations and there are markets, restaurants and banks close by.

Great location, amazing staff!
The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. They gave us the vest recommendations for restaurants and cafes, and were always attentive and kind. Also--when we travel, we prefer to stay in neighborhoods surrounded by locals rather than tourist areas surrounded by tourists. This location is perfect. Close to 2 tram stops & a short walk to the U-line. We'll stay here again next time we visit!

Lovely, friendly hotel with clean spacious room. I stayed for two nights whilst in Vienna for a conference and would recommend this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nice breakfast and comfortable rooms.

central location - nice staff
central, very nice and helpful lady at reception. I had a 1-person (single bed...) room. Enough space in the room but larger bed would have been nicer for an adult. The decoration is old fashioned but I found it satisfying.
