We learned from her the Villa was originally constructed in 16 th century hunting lodge of the DeMedici family. We were given a complimentary wine tasting and tour of the Villa’s production facility. The local town of Vinci was hosting a 400 year anniversary of Leonardo de Vinci and tours of the museum. "We love to stay here when we are in Florence. The location is excellent and the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is delicious and is served in the most magnificent dining room.
