"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing home- phenomenal beach and coral reef to snorkel. We really appreciated all of the water, shoes and snorkels that were available. We saw sea turtles, colorful, fish, and so many other sea wildlife animals while we were there. The house itself is gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. Super well organized kitchen. It was our favorite place out of the four places we stayed on vacation in Hawaii."

"What an exceptional place! We had such a magical time. We stayed as a family of four including our kids ages 9 and 3. We all loved being able to walk right across the street to the gorgeous ocean and see the sea turtles eating in the tide pools. I even came across a monk seal sleeping on the beach - (and gave it plenty of space). The kids especially loved the backyard and we all enjoyed the swing so much! From the unobstructed views of Mauna Kea to the star gazing, it’s a lovely property you can enjoy at all times of the day or night and we made sure to do so. The furnishings are beautiful and the home was very clean. Everything we possibly needed was there, and the outdoor shower was a huge plus. This home made our 30th anniversary vacation so special! Thank you so much the lovely stay!"

"The Treadwell House was perfect for our family group of 5 adults and four teenagers.Leilana was an amazing host who responded immediately and helpfully to our questions and requests. The location, a short distance off the highway, to the secluded house, across the front lawn through a gate that led onto a perfect, beautiful beach, with clear sparkling water conducive to snorkling, could not have been better. West facing, the house delighted us with spectacular sunsets every evening.The kitchen and living room provided ample spaces for conversation or quiet reading, as we chose. The spacious deck which opened out from the kitchen/living room was large and perfect for gathering at all times of the day and night.Nearby stores were easy to reach and a midweek trip inland to the Waimea Farmers Market introduced us to fresh locally grown food and to the friendly local farmers.Yes, there were geckos in the house but we soon got used to them. If you're looking for ostentation, luxury and crowds this is not for you - if you're looking for a thoughtfully designed, inviting, comfortable, charming well-equipped family home on the beach, consider the Treadwell House. A unique experience in every way."

"We had a wonderful family time on this so comfortable property. The house is very modern with many conveniences, including bidet toilets and a quirky elevator. The property managers were on-the-spot helpful when we had any issues. There are two single kayaks for you to use. We rented a few more so everyone could go out on the bay. The kitchen was more than fully stocked with food staples, cooking and baking tools, and kitchen gadgets. We highly recommend this house as a perfect location for any big family get-together!"

"This home is truly magical. You feel isolated and away from all the crowds, but close to everything. Access to the Auberge resort was awesome for pickleball and fitness center access. The proximity to Hapuna beach is perfect. Puako bay is an oasis! The home is clean, modern, and convenient. Thank you to our hosts for their generous and first class hospitality!"
