"We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was plentiful and varied with good quality ingredients. Our bed was comfortable and it felt like a proper home-from-home. I just can't fault our experience here because the location was good and Chris & Jackie were very helpful and welcoming. On the morning of our departure, Jackie had noticed that the seagulls had made a mess on our car so she gave the car a wash! That was above and beyond most peoples expectations as far as I'm concerned. Excellent."

"Hotel very central and short walk to the beach. WiFi not strong, we struggle to get a signal. Bed the mattress needs updating but nice shower. Breakfast ok standard English breakfast. Parking very crowded as not hotel exclusive. We spent over 1 hr trying to get a space one day.
Overall stay ok."
"The room was clean and bright despite being a budget room. The only criticism is there were no toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived and we only got some on day 2. Breakfast was OK but very short staffed. Most items ran out quickly and took a while to replenish. We have been coming to this hotel for years and noticed the decline in service this time. The one great constant was the lovely swimming pool and the lifeguard manager who is always friendly and super helpful."
"A perfectly placed hotel for exploring Bournemouth beaches. The restaurant was nice not huge selection but nice and freshly cooked. Breakfast was a good mix. Staff were fantastic. Especially Holly at front desk- she was so friendly and kind. Gave us tips to get to the best part of a beach nearby saving us loads of time and stress. Helped us get extra pillows for the room. The superior room was really lovely , clean and air conditioned was perfect for heat wave ! Will def stay here again when we return to Bournemouth"
"Our usual place to stay when visiting family in the area. Good location and decent size car park. Pub/grill has a good crew working there, nice drink selection and food. Don’t do breakfast as weekend times don’t work for us."
"Really conveniently located with excellent spa, sauna and pool facilities. Most of the attractions were walking distance of the hotel with lots of choice of places to eat.
Lovely breakfast. Would go back again 😊"
"Outside of hotel very shabby, inside looked a lot nicer. No facilities such as catering and spa etc all had to used at their sister hotel next door. Offered sea view room at additional cost, which we did not require. When we got to our room it had a sea view anyway. Room was a good size and clean and comfortable. Parking on site offered as available on arrival yes parking available at £20 per day, no fee was mentioned in the advert, so would have been nice to know in advance, no reduction for guests staying at hotel…"
"Terrible room - stuck in the 'Russell Wing' which was like a dungeon. Below street level, noisy, dated and chipped furniture, no full length mirror, small room and very disappointing for almost £200 for 1 night. Nauseating smell from the corridor outside. Buffet breakfast so-so with cheap processed bread, cheap beans and awful coffee. Only received 2 stars because of its views across the bay.
Cannot recommend. Wish we'd chosen anywhere else."
"Bathroom was not cleaned or workable. Shower was taped to the wall shower door was falling off razor point was not working loo seat didn’t stay up. Bits of the wall had holes in and not enough plug points bed was to small for a disabled person and a 6 ft plus career."
