My stay at the Romantik Hotel Beau Rivage was excellent and everything I needed for travel. The room had a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and a balcony with a stunning lake view, plus the sauna overlooking the water was a great bonus. The location was perfect—easy check-in, close to a boat cruise and a nearby convenience store—and although there was no microwave, that’s common in Switzerland; overall, it was everything I dreamed it could be.

Fantastic location

A very nice hotel in a beautiful location. The outdoor seating areas and pool are very nice. The room is spacious and it was great to have a balcony to sit out and look at the amazing views, the bed was uncomfortable. Under staffed for breakfast so left waiting for coffee and fresh food. Do be aware that the chapel bell rings on the hour all night.

Our stay was memorable and beautiful. We loved the balcony with a view of the lake. Also really enjoyed swimming in the pool and the lake. Perfect location for the Rose Festival. The room was cozy and had nice amenities like coffee and water. Breakfast was excellent with many options. I highly recommend the Beau Rivage for a relaxing stay away from the crowds of Lucerne.

Positives : - Great view of the lake - Friendly receptionists - Renovated bathrooms Negatives: - Outdated room (except bathroom) - Several amenities missing, e.g. minibar - Breakfast organisation. The staff is surely able, but someone must come in to structure the mise en place. We came in to a largely unprepared breakfast room. - Room doors (main and bath) scratch the floor. This is an easy fix, don't tell me it has not been noticed. To current hotel standards, this is a 2-star in need of complete renovation.
