"Indoor pool temperature in and out of the water was very comfortable during our fall visit. The breakfast host was really nice and they had real boiled eggs vs. prepackaged ones. Overall would definitely recommend and stay again. Its also walking distance from chain restaurants and a shopping center for those looking to not have to drive or with limited transportation."

"The Richard Johnston B&B was wonderful!! It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of historic Fredericksburg. The breakfasts were so fresh and delicious!! Staff is helpful and very friendly. The rooms are full of antiques, roomy and clean. Always fresh baked cookies in the living area. We would defiantly recommend the Richard Johnson!!"

"Loved this place- it was even nicer than the pictures show! Plenty of room, loves the neighborhood- especially the walkability and friendly neighbors. Sat out in the sunroom when it was raining and out on the decks when it wasn’t! Very relaxing place to stay. Caledon State Park has great hiking trails! Fredericksburgs Riverby Bookstore and Sammy Ts sandwich shop were great recommendations."

"LOVED this cabin. Well equipped kitchen, bath, beds, etc. Great location for local activities. Hit the vineyards, Colonial Beach, oyster festival and Westmoreland State Park. Was awesome sitting on deck listening to forest rustling. Our big concern was AC but it worked just fine. Perfect get away locale"
