"I stay here at least a few times a month for business trips, unfortunately, it's gone downhill. Quality of the food, the rooms, the only good part are the staff who are friendly.
Now you pay an extra for cooked breakfast (which I would avoid)

"A really friendly atmosphere in the hotel, great breakfast and the location was perfect. It was lovely to be able to walk out and be right by the wonderful Ely Cathedral. "
"Not quite as it appears in the photos! Large space but a bit "dusty". Definitely a bit misleading. The host is VERY nice and friendly. Communication was great! The full English breakfast was a lot of food!! The village was cute and the local pub was awesome."
"Room was super clean and had air conditioning which was a huge relief during a heat wave. Food downstairs was really yummy and the garden was really nice. Easy walk from the train station too. Would recommend this place!"

"A really friendly atmosphere in the hotel, great breakfast and the location was perfect. It was lovely to be able to walk out and be right by the wonderful Ely Cathedral. "
"We (Mum, Dad, 15 & 8 year old) from Cornwall stayed for 3 nights. We wanted somewhere near Cambridge as my eldest is there at Uni. The location was spot on, only 30 minutes drive to the centre of Cambridge and 3 miles from St Ives where there were plenty of places for fuel, shopping and eating.
The accommodation was perfect for us. The only slight thing was the sofa bed was a little less comfortable for the eldest child. But everything was clean, tidy and well equipped for us on arrival. We arrived just after reception closed and we had received a welcome text with our room number and keysafe code. The was a folder in the room with all the necessary information for our stay, very helpful!
The most amazing part is the setting. A beautiful courtyard outside and free entry to the amazing Raptor Foundation literally next door! We were all excited the first morning to have a view of the 2 meerkats from our window! The Raptor centre is simply incredible: we all learnt so much and the staff and volunteers were so passionate and knowledgeable! And super friendly and helpful too! I simply can't praise them highly enough. The birds are all amazing and have proper characters and there are several flying sessions each day. A small reptile house as well and a great educational room. The lunch available in the onsite restaurant was very reasonable and extremely tasty. There is a playground for the smaller kids and a gift shop with a beautiful array of souvenirs.
We will definitely be back!"
"Beautiful old building which has had good levels of investment into making it a fine hotel. Very well located in the centre of town but with plenty of nearby parking.
Well appointed, if small, rooms, attentive and welcoming staff although needed more staff at breakfast as many guests had to wait too long to be seated. Breakfast was excellent though, lots of choice and good quality."
"Different and so much better an experience for it. Family run and it shines through. Genuine, friendly. All going the extra mile.
A good weekend stay for our family. "
"Great room with all the facilities needed WiFi, TV, tea and coffee, iron, etc and great sized bathroom for room type with full bath… Really good breakfast and choice, and cooked to order. All for a very reasonable price in a lovely Cambridgeshire town "
"Beautiful quiet location, Plenty of space outside on the patio and also inside . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was very good with an over fill carpark. Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,"
