"The overall stay was satisfactory. Clean room, nice lobby, upgrade from your normal breakfast included fair. The only glitch was that the desk staff seemed a little overwhelmed and not on top of things. I had reported that the bathroom sink handle was not attached and the response i got was, "does it still work?". Well, it did, as long as you held it in your hand so it didnt drop in the sink. This is a basic preventive maintenance issue that could be easily overcome by a better versed...

"wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. ...
