Very helpful and friendly staff … they kindly gave my mother and I 2 single rooms with a sea view which was lovely .. rooms had all that we needed for a 1 night stay .. would definitely stay here again if in Weston super mare .

We liked the individuality of the property. Staff, especially Sandie, were delightful. We really enjoyed our stay, apart from one day. All day on the Saturday there was loud, very, music coming from the bar. It permeated the whole place and one could barely hear oneself think! It was so penetrating as to be unhealthy. If it hadn’t been for that, our scores would have been a great deal higher. But if we could avoid that, certainly we would return.

Friendly welcoming hotel in a great position on the sea front. Large room and en-suite with housekeeping. Ample parking which is free to residents after you record your registration. Good selection at breakfast with tables cleared quickly by attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant at night but meals can be ordered/served in the lounge/sports bar. A lot of work has been done to keep hotel up to date.

We had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful as when we got there we weren't sure about the carpark but reception explained how it worked. What i did like was we were asked if we wanted housekeeping as we were only there for two days we didn't see the point so we said no. The hotel for us was in a perfect position with lovely sea views and the promenade a minute away. We would definitely stay there again.

I chose The Royal as there was a positive review about being good for solo travellers. This was my experience too. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful . It was easy to find and has easy access to the sea front. The hotel's location meant that I felt safe to walk alone in the evening , as I wanted to try local restaurants. Parking was especially good and there was an extended period also allowed once I had checked out . For the time I spent at The Royal, I chose to walk everywhere, as there was no need to use the car . I would definitely visit again.
