"Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. "

Initially we could not find the property, but Kathryn came out to the Little Village, where we had stopped and brought us to the property. The room was fantastic. "Warm welcome received by host. Very friendly. Parking to rear of hotel bit of a squeeze as was busy but not a big issue. Room on top floor was quirky with comfortable bed and leather sofa. Quiet and spotlessly clean with a fridge whi h came in handy and even a microwave hidden away. Full breakfast was piping hot and plenty enough. The fruit plate was a little sparse to be fair but it was exactly what it says on the tin...a plate with fruit so no complaints. Great location in a quiet area but...
