"The stay was great. We arrived in the early evening and were given a good room. I requested a roll away bed for our son. We were told that unfortunately they didn't have any left, but they could upgrade us to a mini suite. They enabled us to have a successful trip by moving a few things around while treating us as valued individuals and guests. The spa and pool were under renovation during our vist "

"Staff friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. General manager, Rama was really helpful and made a kind gesture for our anniversary of chocolate cake with “Happy Anniversary “ written in sauce. Hotel could do with updating as no central heating, windows old, sofa badly stained. Plenty of choice on half board and bed was super comfy. Would stay again."

"The cleanliness was exceptional. The decor of my room on the 5th floor was nice. Slept well. No problems. But I would have liked a warmer welcome when I checked in. Please ask staff to say 'Welcome'. They might like to ask 'Is this your first time to stay at Britannia?' 'Where have you travelled from today?' Anything like that would be nice and doesn't take long!"
