"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. "Where do I start we got to the hotel on the first night go to the room to find there was no bedding for the kids we got charged for breakfast the next day for the kids the staff are useless the pool was closed by 7pm even tho is stated it was open till 9pm all the carpets in the hall way were taped down or ripped up the place is a joke for the price we paid"

"Excellent stay, beautiful hotel, helpful, friendly staff. However, very disappointing continental breakfast, which had to be ordered rather than a buffet, help yourself option. Just cereal, over ‘cooked’ toast and croissants don’t constitute a continental breakfast in a 5* hotel in my view. It didn’t detract from a lovely stay in Chester though!"
