"The hotel is located close to the convention center and downtown Dallas. Staff was very attentive and competent. We were especially impressed when one day we came back and our air conditioner was not working. I called downstairs to the desk and within 10 minutes Eduardo showed up. Eduardo repaired the air conditioning with parts that were obviously in a store room in the hotel. He was able to check the air conditioner go get the pieces that were broken and bring them back into our room and fix it quickly. They also have a very beautiful pool area. They have a restaurant and bar."

"The decor in here is great, but it feels like lipstick on a pig. When we arrived the hot water wasn’t working which, okay, stuff happens I guess. Would have been nice to be notified when we checked in so I didn’t stand in the shower for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to make it hot. The bigger issue was the air conditioning in my room (224). It sounded like a helicopter taking off from my room. SO loud and it came on and off all night meaning I didn’t sleep. "

"I loved my stay here. It was like stepping back in time to the 1920's. The art deco theme holds throughout, and the view from the top floors is phenomenal! I've loved the Pegasus atop this building since I was a child, so this place was a real treat. The only two negatives are that the mattress was a little hard and if you bring your car, expect to pay nearly $50 a night for parking. Still, what a find! "

"The property was clean and staff were very nice however the hotel is outdated and our room was very hot. Granted we did stay on the 17th floor but I also expected the room to be nicer since I paid an upgrade. They did say they would be updating/remodeling soon. Will come back just might not pay the extra for the upgrade/lounge."

"We paid an extra $80 to get a room closer to the lazy river and pool area. The hotel is big enough where we thought it was worth it. The food was expensive, but some of it was really good. Do NOT get the cucumber sandwich at the pool."
