"We had a wonderful stay at Holly Lodge celebrating our anniversary. Very well located in Windermere but only a 20 minute walk into Bowness or the bus stop is only 2 minutes away if you prefer. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend."

"Lovely property, breakfast good, lots of choice. Walls a bit thin, could hear person next door snoring. Windows were heavy and propped open with wood, husband had to lift up to remove the wood. Room was clean. To turn the taps on, they were the wrong way round Shower pipe was leaking but still had good pressure. Would stay again"

"Superb hotel. Very comfortable bed. Lovely room, spacious. Excellent shower bathroom facilities. Breakfast choice, lunch menu, evening meals all excellent. Great wine list, well stocked bar. The views from the hotel in all of the communal areas were stunning. Decor was very nice. The staff were all fabulous. Mat, Clare and her sister plus all the others were marvelous. Nothing was too much bother, everyone was so friendly. It was lovely to meet other guests who have been going there for years. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable and welcoming."

"Lovely place. Quiet at night after 11pm. Hot tub was great but the garden it was in was overlooked however the hot tub had a seperate cover."
