"The room was well kept and clean but did not have an AC but each room had its own fan which made up for on the warmer days. The greatest was continental and provided good range for vegetarians. All the stuff were lovely and very helpful."

"This is a fine old achool hotel, with large clean rooms, and a friendly staff. The reception rooms and bar are nice, but while we were, were totally overrun by a wedding party. The restaurant is okay. It is adjacent tobthe reception and the dinner is acceptable, but certainly not remarkable. Everything was a little overdone. The worst was the wedding, that had a performer signing full blast in the bar, and which was so loud the waiter could barely take our dinner order. It was extremely intrusive for all the other guests. The breakfast here is also very good. Suggest going to an outside restaurant if the hotel is booked out for a private event."

"Beautiful view from our room. Spa and spa treatments were lovely. Large lounge restaurant area with view of lake, ideal for just chilling. Location is superb."

"Great location Very good staff. The Winander section has its own very helpful staff and breakfast with great views. The room we had was a very spacious and well designed. My only comment was a shaving mirror would have been useful given the distance to the actual mirror. The spa access for hotel Guests was somewhat more limited than expected and the outdoor areas were completely separate and require extra payment. What is left in the swimming pool area is a little bit more limited than similar properties in the area we have tried."

"Amazing stay! The hotel was clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and all the staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The only downside was the attic loft room. It was quite small, and the sloped ceiling meant I hit my head several times near the skylight. Next time, I would prefer a standard room rather than an attic loft"

"The staff are Amazing, clean rooms, amazing food (albeit expensive) We enjoyed our time at the Wild Boar but and its a big but! The price of food was hard to swallow (pardon the pun)"

"The stay was very relaxing. Could not fault how clean the hotel was. Parking was excellent no trouble at all to park. Staff maybe could have been a bit more helpful - it was only YES NO answers. Good choice of breakfast."
