"Fantastic room very clean and really efficient service"

"Beware of hotels that book large conference groups. There were two large groups, one that partied outside our window until midnight. We could not access our original rooms as the lift was broken and my 89 year old mother could not go up the stairs. The receptionist was more interested in checking out the split ends in her hair than she was in trying to accommodate us with new rooms. When they finally did give us rooms, we had to haul five suitcases, a car seat, a two year old and my Mom in her walker by ourselves. Disgraceful. "

"Very poor lighting in the room. No where to put on makeup where you could see."

"Couldn’t check in early because I didn’t receive the text message , I only had the itinerary / booking number and it wasn’t being aacceoted for self check in - it was unfortunate, my daughter wasn’t feeling well but gladly waited with me for an hour until we can be checked in. It’s better to book directly with the official website as it speeds up the check in process - witnessed a good number of people able to access their rooms early because of this. We got directions to our lodge, which was great. The shower was clean but when we closed the bathroom door, there were hairs and the floor was wet behind it . In the end, the bed was comfy and we just needed a clean enough space to rest and stay for the night,"

"Excellent rooms, and lovely communal areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful, going well beyond just good customer service. Car park spaces are quite tight and cars were sometimes temporarily blocked in. Good breakfast. Could do with either a second coffee machine or a faster one. "

"The room was clean but the decor and condition outdated and poor. There appears to have been no updating or redecorating since I last stayed here 10 years ago. No breakfast as they no longer have dining facilities."

"The window in the bedroom did not shut fully which meant the sound of the planes landing at Heathrow were particularly noisy. We had been moved down from floor 2 to 1, which unfortunately also meant our view was just the side of a building and the heating systems on the flat roof. Good location, nice amenities, but the room itself did not provide the best night’s sleep I’ve had."
