Also a nice area to stroll around when you’re looking for something to do. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it highly to anyone else who’s going to be in the area."

"This is a great property for multi-unit families as the bedrooms/sleeping spots are spacious, well-situated, and numerous. We took full advantage of the amenities, including upper grill, kayaks, outdoor fire pit for smores night, and laundry!! Kitchen is well stocked including 4 coffee pot options! Oyster knives (we left behind several sets of lobster tools), cutting boards, spacious and clean refrigerator, unbreakable plates and wine glasses. The living room accommodated all of us for a game night of Taboo. The kayaks are tricky launching in deep mud but we ventured out twice and it's a great way to explore the cove. (The mosquitos are vicious waterside, but once launched they go away!) Amazingly there were no bug issues on the upper deck. We spent a lot of time there. The Bow Street Market is a must....they prepared steamed lobsters to go (really delicious) and we brought to house for eating on the deck. We tried their oysters also. Small but tasty and fun to shuck. Jess and Jeff were responsive throughout this experience...before, during, and after. Terrific hosts. We did not have a dog with us but the house is dog-friendly, which our dog lovers appreciated. Of course proximity to shopping (LL Bean and outlets) was a big plus for teens and adults alike. And take the time to go to Mainely Custard, the best ice cream ever for a truly local, old fashioned down home experience. We love your state and will be back! Beats our Mississippi heat!Thanks, Jess & Jeff"

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It was in a wonderful location…very quiet with beautiful views of the Harraseeket River…and within driving distance of many scenic locations along the mid coast. We explored Kennebunkport, Portland, Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, Camden and Pemaquid Point!! Bill is a wonderful host…very kind and helpful! We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!"
