"Everything was five stars! The beds were excellent and very comfortable. The only area that I would rate four stars is the breakfast. There wasn’t enough variety, and unfortunately, the coffee was terrible."

"Nice location on the water. Very peaceful. Host was very responsive when we could not get the wifi to connect. Apparently, it may have been an issue with the wifi provider. Eventually we could connect but the reception in the lower level was spotty. We also had some issues with getting our chargers to get power from some outlets.Other than that, the upstairs with the windows to the water was very relaxing. Appliances all were up to date and worked fine. The beds, pillows and towels all were very good."

"This house has it all: Comfort, Spaciousness, and Beauty. Our group of eight (including 4 children) stayed here the first week of August. We came from DC, MD, and MA for a family reunion with Maine relatives. The house is more spectacular than the photos on the site. The cathedral ceiling LR/DR looks over the woods and cove, a deeply peaceful scene. One family stayed in the upstairs BRs, the other in the lower level; one adult stayed in the first floor BR. The layout of the house gave us time to be together as well time apart. The kitchen is fully stocked. We felt very welcomed and at home. On a rainy day, we had fun looking through all the outlets and of course, LLBean. We ordered pizza one night from Bow St Market, which was excellent. Another night, we ordered Chinese from Asian Garden in Brunswick, which was also good (we did pick up). Portland is only about 20 minutes away. The Children’s Museum was fun; we also enjoyed walking along the Eastern Promenade. Overall, we were sad to leave. (Note: Because of the woods and water, there are mosquitoes, so bring repellent.)"

"What a wonderful time we had in this lovely home and Freeport was so much fun. The location of the home is just a couple miles from down town which was great. The view of the bay was soothing and our kids loved being able to sun on the dock and swim when the tide was in. Beds were very comfy and the amenities were plentiful. Air conditioning was definitely a plus. Communication with the host was excellent."

"What an incredible place!! Our family of 7 was comfortable in this home with room to spare. We had a fantastic stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Kayaking right behind the house was a highlight of our Maine trip. The hosts have thought of everything, even providing water shoes for walking on the rocks when wading in the water. The views, the fire pit, the incredibly comfortable beds… it was a dream stay, and we can’t get back fast enough!!"
