Just minutes away from the summit caldera it was the perfect location for our excursions both day and night. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and provided all the conveniences we needed. A surprise bonus was the property itself -two beautiful acres of walking paths and flower gardens. We can't thank Jim enough for his hospitality!"

We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park.
