"We were 4 adult women friends traveling through Hawaii. This place was wonderful! It was such a lovely drive to get here and it was very secluded, clean and comfortable for all of us. The ocean views were marvelous and all the frog singing is ringing in our ears. There were many many spaces to be in and those stars at night!Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house and we hope to come stay with you again someday."

"This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. We would definitely see if this home is available for a return trip! Rich & Traci"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten path. The grounds indoors and out were well maintained. The artwork at the entrance and books inside are provocative and edgy which matches the vibe of the place. The kitchen, dining area, living room and patio were spacious enough for those who want to be alone. Locks are provided on every room door for security. There is a house cat that lurked around. Not a fan, an allergic, but that was minor compared to the beauty of the place. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, however some water in the kitchen for guests would have been good. Highly recommend "

"Nice place to sleep while we were enjoying various activities around the island. Please read the amenities. If you are coming from the main land and are custom to A/C. Please note that A/C is an amenitie on the Hawaiian Islands. If you get past that, the weather is fairly comfortable, ceiling fan and a floor fan was provided. Leave the windows open for a breeze. Comfy bed and in a secluded area. Thanks for the memories. Everyday we had a visitor, I knew it was going to be a great day!"

"Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin."

"We chose this lovely home because it is relatively close to volcanoes NP and Hilo, and because the multiple bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and two teens. The tropical jungle forest surrounds the property. It is a couple minutes walk down to a gorgeous black sand beach. The beach requires climbing down natural rock steps, not a problem for us but might be for some. The waves are very big here. The young adults/teens had a blast boogie boarding and playing in the waves, but they took a beating (worth it!) and are strong swimmers. The location is remote so we stocked up in Kona before driving out. The natural food store in Pahoa carried a little bit of everything and is nearby. In Hilo we enjoyed snorkeling at Richardson Ocean park. We would absolutely stay here again!"
