"Mahana House is a gorgeous space where seemingly everything has been thought about and tended to. The hosts are kind, gracious, and welcoming. They're as available as you need them to be, and when my mom and I were caught in a tropical storm and literally not even sure we'd make it to the inn, they were continuously available and responsible, without having electricity themselves. This is a truly beautiful, special place, and I hope to go back!"

"Great well furnished house. Most anything you could think of, the house had it. Beautiful location. Loved spending family dinners and game time on the lanai. If you are sensitive to sounds at night, bring earplugs or sound canceling earplugs because the coqui frogs can be very noisy."

"Joe & Cindy's Luxury Oceanfront Guest House in Pepeekeo was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to stay during our visit to Big Island. It is beautifully and comfortably designed and had everything we needed. We cooked several meals here and everything necessary was supplied. You have to check out the water view from the cliff - it's outstanding and worthy of photos and a picnic. The extremely private cottage is a short drive from Hilo and the directions and check in/check out processes were so easy. Joe & Cindy made themselves available, yet they weren't overbearing like some hosts. We would definitely stay here again when we return!"
