"We were very impressed with the house it was perfect for our needs. Luxury details and nice decor made the stay special. Just the right size for two families sharing and a short stroll away from the heart of Salcombe.
Well equipped and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack were very helpful."

"The location is very convenient for the shops and restaurants. A bonus having onsite parking (could be tricky if there are 4 bigger cars) The view from the living area with bifold doors was amazing "

"All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was great, I didn't fully understand the heating and ventilation but that was down to me. the beach view from the dining room was excellent and the local walks in and around South Sands were great. All the meals we had were 1st class especially breakfast We Walked to Salcombe a couple of times and although its a little hilly the views made up for it. We only had a three day stay but the time passed in the blink of an eye. This was a really great stay for myself and my wife and we will return. "
"Fantastic hotel, rooms are beautiful, view stunning. Very relaxing.
Great food and drinks.
The staff make the hotel even better, so friendly, they couldn’t do enough.
A real credit to the hotel ! We will definitely come back! "
"Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends."

"Overall - nice apartment, well equipped, superb view. The good - the view from the front room of this 1st floor apartment is its prime feature - it's one of the best we've enjoyed (even compared with high above lake Garda). Handfuls of friendly people pass below per-day and you know they're quite jealous.Inside is tasteful, with a well-equipped kitchenette, two showers, good TV set-up and wifi. Parking is no issue and the site has a warmish pool (it's just a pool mind, no messing, and shuts at 18:00) and a tennis court.Walks of 30-45mins can take you to the lighthouse (tho not often open to the public) or to Beesands and the pub and fish-bar. Reasonably steep but always with fantastic views. The area - it's ok, Hallsands, Torcross and Slapton have dramatic histories, Darmouth is pretty, Salcombe is… overrated. Plymouth is Bristol 20 years ago. It's all OK, especially if you like looking at other people's property investments or parked boats. The not-so-good - the soft-furnishing could do with a cleanup or renewal. We were bitten, relentlessly - though 'no pets', jumping insects as well as mosquitos were seen. Can't say why, as general cleanliness seemed fine - maybe somethings got blown in? For the money it needs sorting. It isn't very big - despite being a rock-solid property investment (if the"
