"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer."

"Lovely little house,location fantastic. Everything you needed was supplied, books games even dishwasher tablets and cleaning equipment. Just needs a little TLC. Small negative, we didnt realise the property was over four floors until we got our final confirmation. This caused a slight problem as we had my eighty year old mother with us. All in all a great little getaway and would definitely book the house again."

"We were pleasantly surprised of the size of the property, we had everything we needed for our stay! Torcross is a lovely, quaint village, this was our first visit and not likely to be our last. Just one warning for future visitors, there is no shop, just a pub and cafe, both provided lovely food! Make sure to visit the nearby farm shop and garden centre for a pizza!"

"First of all, the views are incredible. That’s what we booked for and they did not disappoint. But potential bookers should be aware that some of the issues raised in previous reviews still stand… Pros: Views Beds - so comfy. Probably the best of anywhere we’ve stayed Communication - very quick and responsive from holiday company Showers - new and very good. Front balcony and back garden - amazing! Cons: The place was not as clean as we would have expected. Spider webs in many places. Dirt behind the bathroom door. Dog hair on bed. A horrid sticky spill left under a footstool. Ketchup smears in a cupboard. In addition the coffee machine was faulty. The company offered to come and rectify immediately but none of the issues were significant enough to warrant bringing someone out. However, even though small there were multiple issues. The back garden is stated as being enclosed but the gate has very wide gaps under it and our small dog would have been able to get under it so we couldn’t leave him in the garden unattended. Had we known this we wouldn’t have chosen the property as we were only searching for secure gardens. The nearby pub was great, as was the fish and chips from Britannia. The local area is very beautiful. For the price we paid we would have expected the house to be immaculate and it certainly wasn’t."

"Extremely well maintained and well appointed apartment. We had one small issue with the doors which was rectified very quickly. Loved that there were plenty of mugs, glasses , plates etc as well as cooking equipment. I always think two dishwasher tablets is unnecessarily mean when its quite an expensive holiday but thats a small gripe!"

"We loved our stay at 10 At The Beach and didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. Lovely views of the sea and lake from the lounge bay window. Good pub , farm shop and cafe very close by. Comfortable beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. I had a couple of negatives: it was very hot weather and you could do with a fan in each bedroom. The fridge is small and there is no cupboard space to store any provisions you may bring with you, internet isn’t great but better on the beach! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend."
