"Lovely stay at the South Sands. Room was comfortable with a huge walk in shower and separate roll top bath. Included breakfast was great and dinner was also very good. Perfect setting on the beach. "Did not see any staff all weekend, key left in front porch with a note on arrival. Place felt ambandoned and un safe, had it not been height of summer season would have looked for alternative on night of arrival. Advertised details incorrect no restaurant or food available after 5 hour drive had to go out to find food. Plates and cultery left in room with very noisy fridge next to bed, expected to wash up in basin in bathroom. Farm in the middle of nowhere so no where to get food. Down stairs...

The sheets and pillow cases, although obviously clean, were placed on old and very badly stained pillows and mattress.
