Negatives include a dilapidated building, no working cable/data lite as every Chanel simply gave a channel unavailable error message, the hygiene products were used, the vending machine was both broken and stocked with Great Value brand items, and the kicker was lousy breakfast. (Stake cereal, apples, and white bread. That was all)"

"Great place to stay. Clean and well appointed. If I had one complaint it would be the key in the lock box. I put it back in there whenever we left rather than carrying a loose key in my pocket. It fell on the porch a couple times when I opened it and could see a situation where it could fall under the porch. Maybe a hook inside the lock box to hold it would help. Outdoor patio in back and the front porch were get places to relax"

"Breakfast was not included in our price. We could purchase it for $10. We just went out. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms and hallways were clean. The AC worked great. The beds were comfortable. TV worked. Showers were warm with grab bar. Full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were available and attached to the wall in the shower, which was nice, except the conditioner bottle had shampoo in it. I just used my own conditioner. Basic room. Good price. There was no phone in the room. They did not service the room while we were there. I guess for the price, we were supposed to ask for more towels? We did not see any information in the room about wifi or how to contact the office. Extended stay is a separate building from where the office is in Best Western, a brief walk away. They offered ice water and coffee in the lobby. I guess there was an ice machine in our building, but we did not look for it. We were there in October as vendors for the Scenic Drive. We wanted to stay there for the 2nd weekend of the Scenic Drive, but the price for a room was jacked way up, evidently because of a family weekend at Knox College? Not sure. But the price difference was very notable on hotels.com for all the hotels in Galesburg. So we had to get a room in Galva, a bit of a drive from Knoxville, though it should be pretty driving through the country with the fall colors."
